Hip Hop com Dendê

A reflection of the movement gaining thousands of followers worldwide, hip hop arrives in Bahia and captivates a large portion of its peripheral youth, who blend its elements — graffiti, breakdancing, rap, DJing, MCing, and “thinking”— with local artistic expressions. Together, they discover alternative ways to communicate and speak to their own people, through community radio stations, community newspapers, the internet, and especially word of mouth.
